Gi-Space Design founder Gigi Leung has specialized in marketing, interdisciplinary design, visual communications, corporate brand identity for nearly two decades, the last 7 years of which she has headed up her own company. Her experience spans continents and media, and she has left her imprint across industries ranging from fashion to technology, the art world to a top-of-the line hotel.

She is known among her clients for her independent spirit, sense of humor and unique perspective as well as for the talent that led Sotheby's to select her as Vice President of Design and Creative Services North America, for which she developed and implemented of visual brand identity that can be seen at all Sotheby's offices in New York City, Hong Kong, and London.

As attentive to the small project as the multi-year program, Gigi is hands- and eyes-on all engagements. With a global team of art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, information architects, interface developers, and production assistants at the ready, Gigi hand-picks the experts most suited to complete any job whose parameters require more than her own skill set. Outside her own business she is an active mentor to those just beginning in the field, helping them shape careers and sharing with them not only her artistic sensibilities but also the importance of thought leadership.

Prior to forming Gi-Space, Gigi served in multiple positions at NY-based Sullivan and Company, most recently as Executive Vice President and Creative Director. She led on marketing strategy and strategic integrated communications systems for clients including American Express, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Dreyfus, Fidelity Investments, IBM, and MasterCard Worldwide.

A native of Hong Kong, Gigi was educated at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She was awarded a Bachelors of Fine Arts (with High Honors), majoring in Graphic / Packaging Design. She has been based out of New York City for more than 20 years. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.

Recently, Gi-Space Design served as design consultant for a new five-star hotel and casino in Macau, China. Gigi had primary responsibility for sourcing and for selecting more than 1,500 paintings and decorative art forms for the casino and the hotel rooms in accordance with managements' existing design standards, and traveling throughout eastern Asia to manage and oversee the quality control processes with various vendors and manufacturers.
