Gigi Leung is a figurative sculptor

whose work is informed by classical training and explores the expressive power of the human form through personal interpretation. Working primarily in clay, she creates sculptures that speak to resilience, vulnerability, and the shared human experience. Through gesture, anatomy, and emotional presence, her work invites reflection and human connection.

Before dedicating herself to sculpture, Leung spent seven years studying expressive drawing with a focus on portraiture and human emotion. This foundation continues to inform her sculptural practice, shaping her sensitivity to anatomy, expression, and the emotional presence of the figure.

Leung studied figurative sculpture at the Athens Sculpture Ateliers in Greece and the Dutch Academy of Figurative Sculpture in the Netherlands. Rooted in careful observation and traditional modeling techniques, her practice is dedicated to developing a distinctive artistic voice through the timeless language of figurative sculpture.
